Southie

We took a trip over to South Boston on Saturday night for some dinner and drinks at our friend's place. I took a few shots on the way and from their home. Dinner was terrific and it was nice to sit on their roof deck and watch the sunset.

New Orleans Revisit

I took these some years ago with my old film camera. I had a great time walking around New Orleans. I hope to someday again. It is such a unique city.

I have been trying to upgrade my ETSY shop hoping I will have some better luck with sales. I have decided to feature some of my filter fun shots. It was hot on my Friday photowalk but I was able to get some nice shots.

It has been very hot and humid in the Boston area these days. I have not been on many photo walks. I did go out for a bit on Friday. I am never one who enjoys the heat. There are reports of a cool down later this week, yeah!

Lovely Tomatoes

On my trip to Boston for lunch, shopping and a photowalk. I stopped by the Copley Farmer's Market. I love heirloom tomatoes. They look so weird and sometimes down right funky but, taste so good. It is a wonderful treat and one of the summer things I look forward too.

Etsy Critter Finds

I loved this women's T-shirt. I was perusing Isotope's shop on Etsy. They lots of funky and creative graphics. They make great gifts for people that are hard to buy for.

I love this little pendants of my fellow Boston Handmade member Jen Tang of MaJenta designs. She uses beautiful prints to make these pendants, mirrors, purse hooks and boxes. I think this little bunny pendant is adorable.
It would make a great gift for a loved one or maybe, yourself.

For my finally find, I go to Weller Wishes shop on Etsy. Boston handmade member Kathy Weller draws these whimsical critter drawings. She also sells tiny pins featuring cats and other creatures. Check out her shop.

Antique, SOWA

I took a stroll around the Antiques Market at SOWA. It was a nice break from the heat and I got a few shots. There was some fun old stuff for sale and on display.

Show Report, SOWA

I love SOWA Open Market. It has veggies, baked goods, arts and crafts for sale all in one market. On Sunday, it was super hot so not good for sales. Some breved the hot weather and did attend the Market. We all cheered when the sun went behind the clouds. I was invited to share a tent with Lucie Wicker, a fellow photographer and illustrator. She had some very cute illustrations on display. He dog apollo has become inspiration for many of her artworks. I have to say he is a very cute dog.

Filter Fun, Los Angeles

I had a bit of glowing fun with these. We were lucky to visit the Farmer's Market in Los Angeles not once but, twice on our trip. I love all the food stalls and open air atmosphere. The gorilla was just hanging out at Universal Studios. Kind of fun!

Hollywood 2, CA

The Elvis in this set of photos is a bit worn, poor thing! We walked by Micheal Jackson's Star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame. There were lots of people gathered and still some flowers on his star. Also, lots of fans were taking pictures of the star and all the gifts fans have left on the star. I loved all the neon of Hollywood Blvd.
